Transformed by a touch
By Guido Ministries
Years ago, a Japanese magazine published a picture of a butterfly on one of its pages. It was dull gray, but when touched, it transformed into a rainbow of colors. Like this gray butterfly, God’s touch brings vibrant transformation. Consider David, a humble shepherd whose life seemed ordinary. When God anointed him, David’s heart overflowed with poetry, crafting Psalms that still radiate God’s glory.
In Exodus 3, Moses encounters God in a burning bush, a moment that transforms his life. Once a fugitive hiding in the desert, Moses was living a life that seemed dull and directionless, marked by past mistakes. But God’s touch—His call through the fiery bush—changed everything. Moses became the deliverer of Israel, leading God’s people out of slavery with courage and purpose. Both men, touched by God, went from mundane to miraculous.
Is your life feeling gray, weighed down by routine or regret? God’s touch can transform you too. In Exodus 3:4, when God called, Moses responded, “Here I am.” That simple openness positioned him for change. God doesn’t require perfection—He seeks willingness. Whether you feel like a failure or just stuck, His touch can turn your ordinary into extraordinary.
Call on the Lord today. Invite His presence through prayer, worship, or meditating on His Word. Trust that He sees you, just as He saw Moses in the desert. Let Him transform your gray into a rainbow of hope.
Prayer:
Lord, touch my life today. Transform my heart, renew my purpose, and fill me with Your vibrant love. I’m ready for Your change. Amen.
