VizCre8ve was named Family-Owned Business of the Year at the recent Longview Chamber of Commerce Small Business Solutions Luncheon.

Tye and Grace Jackson are a husband-and-wife team. They moved from the east coast and made Longview, Texas their home.

Tye told the audience that they are best know as Tye and Grace. Not every married couple make good business partners. Tye and Grace are one of the few couples who mesh well together in business.

Tye explained how he was a one man show but soon realized that he needed some help. His helper was right there in the house and close to him. So, he lovingly asked his wife, Grace, to help him. And they have been working together since.

Their business entails photography, videography, and filming. Hence, they are often together as a husband-and-wife team. They make a great duo because during a shoot, “Grace is working with the woman and Tye with the man,” explained Tye. “By doing this, we keep our clients comfortable and satisfied with photo shoot, video or film.”

But make no mistakes, there are times when they are not in agreement, and that is when they call a truce, stop, and start again because they are better together.

The Jackson team was very thrilled to receive an award from the Chamber.

“This is very sweet in a way because people are paying attention to what we bring to the table,” said Tye. “We are very grateful to the Longview Chamber of Commerce for this award.”

According to Tye, the award means  so much to them.

This award signifies, “Our community says we are doing something good for them.”
